ANGLO-IRISH CHALLENGE POINT TO POINT KINGSON BLOUNT 26 TH MAY 017

The teams for the Anglo-Irish Challenge
Christmas comes but once a year, also the Anglo Irish challenge meeting a feast of top point to point riders from Ireland and Great Britain battle it out over four races.
Two teams, each containing four girls and four boys from the amateur ranks.

The ladies up next and Maxine O'Sullivan takes the ladies Open  on Martin Weston's 
 Cut the Corner.

The 2 mile 5 furlong 4,5,6 year olds maiden was taken in fine style by Francesca Moller's  Ka Maresco, ridden by the one of the great amateurs riding Jamie Codd

A clean sweep for the Irish with the winners for the evening.
Liz Lalor rides Harris Garden for Alan Hill, a double training achievement to the hard working trainer who has put major work into getting a team together and producing this evenings event.
We chat to the jockey Liz Lalor.
