MYSTICAL MULLINS HAS VISITORS

A beautiful spring morning to visit the mystical Wiltshire hill sides, and the small village of Wilsford-Cum-Lake. The location of Wilsford Stables, HQ of Seamus Mullins Racing.
View from Seamus Mullins Wilsford Stables gallops

Having been to many yards and visits in my time, this was one yard you could feel at home with straight away. The calm that hit you as soon as you stepped in was not only shown by the welcome you had from trainer and stable staff alike, but most importantly by the horses to.
It was at this time, whilst chatting to the Assiatnt trainer Paul Attwater, my memory was jogged that i had worked with Seamus before. Long ago, at the stables of Jim Old in Dundry Bristol. Seamus the jockey then, and myself new into the racing industry.

Seeing the horses canter up the inclined all weather surface to it's pull up point overlooing stonehenge.

View from the gallops pull up point overlooking stonehenge

Then watching the horses school as a string.

This truely is a Mystical and enchanted place to train and the best way to spend a fine spring morning.

STALE MATE AT BINFIELD FC

A beautiful evening to end a warm and  pleasent spring day. Well, thats for the weather, the football a little more plasid  I feel.
Another local derby match, and after the drama of the weekend game Vs Bracknell Town. Binfield was a little more on the quite side.

Both sides giving each other a lot of repect, this led to a rather disjointed affair and so 0-0 was a fair result. No team really warrenting the full 3 points.
A few missed chances, but most of the time the ball being kicked from one end of the pitch to the other.

One more midweek league game to go against yet another local opposition in Reading Town.

BUSY WEEK FOR MJAYPHOTOGRAPHY

This weekend starts  a very busy week for me. Including this game, i have another two evening matches to attend and a also a trip to Racehorse trainer Seamus Mullins yard down in Wiltshire. But at the end of the week i will be at my last but one game for the 2014-15 season, the last one being a cup final game. And the start of a summer of equine shoots to  to include Royal Windsor and Fontwell races and hopefully The Royal Windsor Horse show.
Larges Lane Bracknell

Anyway, back to this game, the Bracknell Town Vs Ascot Utd derby game.
Tensions high and goals afoot we hoped. Not so many goals, but certainly  high fuelled with tension.

Rob Saunders penalty convertion
Two Penaltys, one saved. Two sending offs, in a game that saw Ascot Utd continue their winning streak, and as i believe beating their points tally from last season.
The sun shone, as i hope it will do all week for the start of this climb for me.
Garry Aulsberry makes a vital save in the second half from the penalty spot

Images from this game and all  Ascot utd's season campaign can be seen at.
