West Berkshire Racing club stable visit Oliver Sherwood 31st March 2015

Hennessy Gold cup winner Many Clouds
After the early spring storms from the night before subside, early morning sunshine bathes the swooping valleys and hills of Lambourn, and a trip to Oliver sherwood's Roehurst stables.
On show Hennessy Gold cup Winner and 2015 Crabbies Grand National entrant Many Clouds, who casually greets the crowd as all top pro's do.


A trip up to Mandown to see second lot be put through it's paces, All horse about to run for the final hooray of the 2014-15 National Hunt season



Not only watching the horse gallop, but a rare glimps into  rehabilitation and equine Hydrotherapy in the pool.
To watch half a tonne of racehorse swim is the most beautiful and mind boggling experience. And a very special treat.

Thanks must be given to the Guv'nor Oliver Sherwood and his team who with professionalism and  politeness allowed us mere mortals into the world of the Valley of the racehorse.

Ascot Utd Vs Reading Town Hellenic premier league 31-3-15

Again another win at the racecourse ground   for Ascot Utd. Another three points in the first of two parts of a local midweek derby.
The league have put together three local matches for the Yellamen, who go away to Scours Lane in seven days time to play Reading Town again. In between a chairmans cup quarter final game away to Longelevens in Gloucester, and a possible final 2014-15 season league game Versus Bracknell town.
