THE WRIGHT STUFF COMES OUT OF 2017 AS COTTENHAM CLOSES THE YEAR POINTING



As 2017 bows out into another year, Cottenham takes in it's last card with the Cambridge Harriers Hunt Club meeting supporting seven quality races to entertain a good crowd that have come to the races to support point to pointing.

The first race a 12 runner Conditions race started the afternoon well for the father and son partnership of Nick and Archie Wright.

The partnership also take the second race in a quickfire double in the CHHC members Conditions race, as Mr Maclennane scoots home the winner.

The fourth race of the afternoon The Countryside Alliance Club members race for Novice riders went to Tim Gredley riding his own Just Cause trained by James Owen.

The last point to point race of the day, in fact of 2017 went in the shape of the Pointtopoint.co.uk 4,5,6 year olds maiden over 2m 4f.
This went to the Martin Weston trained Danny's Star ridden by Will Biddick
