BUSY WEEK FOR MJAYPHOTOGRAPHY

This weekend starts  a very busy week for me. Including this game, i have another two evening matches to attend and a also a trip to Racehorse trainer Seamus Mullins yard down in Wiltshire. But at the end of the week i will be at my last but one game for the 2014-15 season, the last one being a cup final game. And the start of a summer of equine shoots to  to include Royal Windsor and Fontwell races and hopefully The Royal Windsor Horse show.
Larges Lane Bracknell

Anyway, back to this game, the Bracknell Town Vs Ascot Utd derby game.
Tensions high and goals afoot we hoped. Not so many goals, but certainly  high fuelled with tension.

Rob Saunders penalty convertion
Two Penaltys, one saved. Two sending offs, in a game that saw Ascot Utd continue their winning streak, and as i believe beating their points tally from last season.
The sun shone, as i hope it will do all week for the start of this climb for me.
Garry Aulsberry makes a vital save in the second half from the penalty spot

Images from this game and all  Ascot utd's season campaign can be seen at.

Ascot Utd Vs Flackwell Heath Hellenic Bluefin Challenge cup semi Final

Another cup game to photograph, this time a semi final,
and the chance to be at another Hellenic league Bluefin sports challenge cup final.
Last year saw me take on that Final, with the addition of having my home side  Ascot Utd compete against Ardley Utd

This year again Ascot had to compete against the league leaders elect, Flackwell Heath, for a place in the final, against.............
None other than Ardley Utd
Joe grant scores the winner at the racecourse ground in the Hellenic Bluefin Sports Challenge cup Semi Final Versus Flackwell Heath

Longlevens Vs Ascot Utd Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup Quarter Final 4-4-15

Longlevens AFC Vs Ascot Utd

Away this week with Ascot Utd. And another chance of some seasonal silverware.
The Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup, a trophy that The Yellamen claimed the season before, and a semi final clash against possible league champions Flackwell Heath beckons.

Goalmouth Scramble

This time though, Longlevens AFC are Ascots Quarter final opponants, a tough game as the home team, Longlevens are flying high in Divivision 1 of the Hellenic league.
The pitch deemed uplayable the day before with waterlogging proved a tough hurdle for both sides.

Ollie Hall at full stretch

Jon Bennett scores the only goal of the game
The game went to Extra time at 0-0, and in the first half of the extra play Jon Bennett strikes and gives the away side Ascot the key to the next door of the trophy.
A fair game, with both keepers Chris Grace and Ollie Hall pulling out some good stops throughout the game.
RESULT
Longlevens 0-1 Ascot Utd

Not only watching the horse gallop, but a rare glimps into  rehabilitation and equine Hydrotherapy in the pool.
To watch half a tonne of racehorse swim is the most beautiful and mind boggling experience. And a very special treat.
