NO BOOM BANG A BANG AT LARKHILL FOR THE ROYAL ARTILLERY HUNT MEET, MORE SPLISH,SPLASHY SPLOSH

With a podcast interviewer sounding more like a poor stand in for Barry white, a damp, cold Larkhill to contend with for seven races. The day started off rather brightly really, getting to meet a group of ladies before racing from the London Riding club who accepted an invite from a member of the RAH committee Fizz Shearcroft to come along to the Royal Artillery Hunt meeting for some to watch pointing for the first time.

Members of the London riding club listen in to Peter Wright

A small chat with Peter Wright to start gave some a 'pointer' of what to expect for a card, though becoming soggier throughout the day that would be run on good to soft ground.
Have a listen as I chat to some members of the club on their expectations, and also as we watch the first race The Honourable Artillery Company & Royal Artillery Hunt cub members,  subscribers and farmers

Four went to post. The winner Delineate ridden by Zac Baker, owner by Godfery Maundrell

We even get the winning jockey to pose with our visitors on the podium after he picks up his prize.

Race two the five year olds and over open maiden was split into two divisions.
